This plug-in provides printing redirection to Microsoft shared printers by using a UNC path: \\servername\\sharename. The printer is auto created within the RDP/ICA session as a local printer mapped to virtual LPT2 port.
SMB Print Redirector provides the following advantages:
* Improved network security: for remote branches by transferring print jobs through the session channel removing the need to open additional ports, such as 515 for LPR printing.
* An excellent printing solution for remote branches/sites: by redirecting print jobs to a network-shared printer on the local LAN through an auto-created printer.
* No need to define printers on every Terminal Server: All printers can be defined on Print Server.
