Applicable License types

Xcalibur W uses Client Access Licenses to manage devices. The License Management section is available within the Discovery and Enrollment page.

Please note that without a valid License, Xcalibur W does not allow discovery of new devices.

A Client Access License is defined by:


License Key Number	10-Digit Number
Type of Licenses	Essential : Basic Xcalibur W version for Desktop PCs and Thin Clients
	Upgrade to Premium : Upgrade from Essential to Premium Version
	Premium : Enhanced Xcalibur W version for Point of Service devices with monitoring capabilities and dashboard customization
Number of Seats	Maximum number of devices that can be enrolled on the server

Client Access Licenses are transferable licenses. The system administrator can un-enroll an out-of-service device in order to use its license on a replacement device.
